The concept of workplace ministry is, of course, not new and there are several ministries that are focused on bringing business owners together in peer groups to encourage and challenge one another. Many of you will be familiar with the work of YPO, YEO and Vistage. There are groups that are just as good, if not better, in the faith driven space. What follows is a listing of some that we've come to know. No website, no podcast, no thing can replace the value that comes from meeting with people face to face to explore how God is working through people's lives and businesses.
Lastly, just about every good pro sports team in America has a Chaplain. That comes as a surprise for many, but it shouldn't. Owners of organizations that are all about getting the best out of human talent know that they need to provide for career advancement, financial needs, healthcare AND spiritual well-being. So should you. Check out the last two names on this list: Corporate Chaplains of America and Marketplace Chaplains. From full time chaplains to every other Friday morning, these guys are very, very good and may provide the biggest ROI in your business.
