What Comes After a Foundation Group?

By now, you’ve likely participated in one of our Foundation Groups in person or online. And you might be wondering, “What’s next?” Our invitation is for you to continue meeting with like-minded entrepreneurs every month.

Whether you move ahead with your current group or you join with a new Faith Driven Entrepreneur Group, you have the opportunity to spend more time diving even deeper into the Marks of a Faith Driven Entrepreneur. And you get to take the journey with trusted friends and allies who are on the same road as you.

The Next Step In Your Journey

You’ve already spent 8 sessions building a strong foundation of friendship with people who, perhaps for the first time in your life, can really empathize with your journey of entrepreneurship. Now is the time to take a bold next step.

Continue meeting once a month to discuss our Entrepreneur Video Series. Together as a group, you’ll spend 90 minutes watching these videos and then talking about what it means to fulfill God’s purpose for your life and work. You’ll also take the time for one person in your group to share more about their business and get insight into the current opportunities and challenges ahead.

Henry Kaestner, co-founder of Bandwidth (Nasdaq: BAND), Sovereign’s Capital, and Faith Driven Entrepreneur and Investor, and Jessica Kim, co-founder and CEO of ianacare, will guide you through the powerful real-life stories of entrepreneurs living out their faith. They will dig deeper into Christian entrepreneurship, and they will continue to point back to the nuclear energy source of it all—faith anchored in Christ.

CALL TO CREATE

Seizing Your Divine Moment

Entrepreneurs don’t lack vision or insight. Sometimes they just miss the moment. No matter how much we try to close that gap between the known and the unknown, eventually we will need to take the leap. It will require faith every time.

IDENTITY IN CHRIST

Who Do You Think You Are

Identity is one of the most important lessons we must wrestle with as entrepreneurs. Who do we think we are? More importantly, whose do we know we are? Our work doesn’t define us. The successes and failures we experience along the way only refine us.

STEWARDSHIP -vs- OWNERSHIP

God, Money, Humanity

Every provision—money, opportunity, success—is from God above. These gifts are freely and abundantly given to us not because we earned them, but because God loves us, and he expects us to use his provisions to bless others and bring glory to his name.

JOYFULLY GENEROUS

Creating Consistent Acts of Generosity

Generosity is having an open hand with the resources—the businesses—that have been entrusted to us. Beyond the bottom line, how can I create consistent ways of using my business to help humanity flourish?

IN PARTNERSHIP

Connecting in a Detached World

When Christ-like motivation drives two or more people leading a business, there are no limits to where the work can go.

DON’T WORSHIP WORK

The Hidden Danger

Many of us are running from something, whether we realize it or not. It's been a source of determination, grit and hustle. But if we’re not careful, we can run back to it in the dangerous journey of an entrepreneur

EXCELLENCE MATTERS

Your Best At Work

Excellence matters. And the more we pursue quality in our work, the greater influence we have with our peers and in the marketplace. But we must be thoughtful and disciplined about the way we get after it.

FAITHFUL vs WILLFUL

The Fine Line of Faithfulness

If we find ourselves thinking, “I want to do God’s will, but I just want to do it my way,” we might be in trouble. What does it take for us to walk the fine line that makes it possible for us to faithfully follow God’s lead rather than our own?.

MINISTRY IN DEED

Welcoming Stranger Among Us

We’re in the marketplace for the majority of our days. Opportunities to share the Gospel can be found if we're willing to look and ready to act. What can we do to welcome the stranger among us?

*Featuring the story of Feast World Kitchen

MINISTRY IN WORD

Relational By Design

God himself is made to be relational. He created us with the same purpose in mind. What does it look like for us to love people in the same way that God loves us?

*Featuring the story of McCoy’s Building Supply

ACTIVE IN THE LOCAL CHURCH

Better Together

At the end of the day, missionaries, pastors, and entrepreneurs aren’t all that different. We’re doers, we’re builders, we’re leaders. We want the best for the people around us. But we also want to be the best. It’s not just strengths we share—our weaknesses match as well. We need each other.

CONNECTED TO THE GLOBAL CHURCH

Made to Flourish

All Christians are called to ministry. Not necessarily to a paid ministry job, but to leverage our lives for the Great Commission. That means when you decided to follow Christ, you also accepted the call to mission.
