Ask Big Things of God for the Right Reason

Ask Big Things of God for the Right Reason

Who wins when I ask for big things? I have thought it was me, of course. Recently, however, I have been seeing a different dynamic at work when looking at three passages that follow each other in the book of John.

3 Stages of Business Growth

3 Stages of Business Growth

“There are other ways of writing about the stages of business development. I’ve done it myself, but I find quantifying it in this way—0 to 1, 1 to 5, and 5 to 50—makes sense to a lot of my clients. It works in any industry, any style of corporate culture, and every market I can think of.”

How God's Work Is The Model For Your Work

How God's Work Is The Model For Your Work

We understand that we are created in God's image, that he was a creator and a designer and therefore we are the same.  As entrepreneurs we inherently get this at some level, but I think that we are well served by tapping in to this Biblical truth regularly as we look for an encouragement in our work.  No one does a better job of this, in my opinion, than Jerry Bowyer

Are Tech Wizards Revolutionizing Leadership?

Are Tech Wizards Revolutionizing Leadership?

Tech leaders have virtually unprecedented power to mold the future. The question is: how are they using it — and how will you?

In this post, James Kelly of FaithTech encourages leaders with the reminder of where some of today’s great technology leaders came from. He even reminds us of King David, a man after God’s own heart, who led from a place of faith to influence the world. Consequences of Technology - Intended and Unintended

Consequences of Technology - Intended and Unintended

Every year as we approach the Christian Economic Forum (CEF), I find myself both dreading and looking forward to the construction of my annual white paper.

The white paper below is the essay that emerged from that inquiry, and I hope you enjoy it. It's titled *The Icarus Moment*, but might be more aptly called "The Tower of Babel" in a Biblical context.

Become a Unicorn. Create a Health BHAG.

Become a Unicorn. Create a Health BHAG.

As entrepreneurs, we all have a vision for our company. We may even have a fancy 2-page strategic plan with a 10 yr, 3 yr, and 1 yr goal. I did when I was CEO of a small tech company. It inspired the team, gave us purpose and a clear goal. We spent hours formulating the vision and crafting a plan to execute it. Why don't we do the same in our health?
